HIRAM - “Immersion” LIVE EVENT: Thanks and Reflection

The recent Hiram - “Immersion live event at Wood Lake Nature Center was a truly memorable experience.
With cool, crisp weather and the serene backdrop of the natural surroundings, it was a joy to share this performance with everyone who attended in person or tuned in to the live stream.
Thank you for being part of this event and making it a success!

Special thanks go to Art for Water, MN Water Stewards, and Hennepin County Environment & Energy for their collaboration and support in bringing this vision to life. Your dedication to conservation and environmental awareness aligns perfectly with the spirit of this project.

The full event was multi-track recorded and will be mixed and mastered for an eventual release. In the meantime, you can relive the raw energy of the live performance by watching the archived live stream on the H&G Instagram.

A few personal highlights from the evening include the interactive "Conserve Water" jar station, which added a participatory element to the event, and the unexpected appearance of turkeys lakeside, a delightful reminder of the interconnectedness of the natural world.

The artistry and detail of the setup were beautifully captured in photographs by Vincent Chadwick. From the gear—featuring the iconic brass bowl and Moog—to candid moments during the performance, the images bring the event’s atmosphere to life. (See below for a gallery of highlights.)

This event was a testament to the power of collaboration and community. It reinforced the importance of combining art, nature, and advocacy to inspire meaningful connections and action. I’m so grateful to everyone who came out to support this endeavor.

Stay tuned for updates on the finalized audio release and future events. Until then, thank you for your continued support and for sharing this journey with me.
